Accelerated Reader Program

Accelerated Reader Program

The Accelerated Reader Program is a computerized reading program that measures reading practice and progress. In grades 2nd through 5th, students reading levels are measured using STAR reading assessments. In 1st Grade, students are initially assessed through STAR Early Literary and assigned grade level goals. Students may self-select any books in their Lexile or AR reading range and test to earn points toward their individual goals.
